Post subject: Big bang, and black holes...

Well, i'm not too familiar with the big bang theory and black holes myself, so correct me if im wrong.

They say that black holes are slowly devouring the entire universe, not disposing of the swalowed materia anywhere in the universe, but compressing it. And increasing in size to.

So eventualy, a long time from now, the whole universe will be compressed in a single ball of almost infinite materia. And then? Boom, it all will explode into a new big bang.

Doesn't that means that even before time the universe, was another universe?
and before? is it just a endless circle of preexistent materia being gathered and released again?

I can't say that I'm fully abreast of the latest theories in cosmology, but what you're talking about is a "big crunch". Regardless of black holes, the big crunch only happens if the universe expands below a certain rate, I think. Beyond that, however, I don't know what the latest evidence is regarding whether the universe will slow down and crunch back to nothing. It's certainly not a given, one way or the other, but contingent upon a number of factors.
